2008 NYCC - MOTU
I’m late posting about this, so I’d imagine it’s “old news” to many of you. But, the Masters of the Universe cat is officially out of the bag. The rumors were true - Mattel and the Four Horsemen are resurrecting this property and bringing a collectors-focused mass-market MOTU line to retail next year. Oh yes. No word yet on who exactly we’ll be seeing in the first wave of “Masters of the Universe Classics”, but I’d wager He-Man’s a sure bet. And since this is a collector-oriented line, it won’t suffer the ill fate of the 200X MOTU line that was plagued with nonsensical He-Man repaints and terrible distribution. Hurray for Mattel and the 4H! And oh yeah, that sexy half-naked barbarian to the left is “King Greyskull”, this year’s SDCC exclusive. Hawt.

I never even…I expect you feel as I that you appreciate the anonymity the internet offers but now that Ben has posed the question…I cannot help but wonder…oh well, it makes very little difference to me except that my toy-crush on you might be a real crush (tee-hee.) Besides I am a heterosexual male and I can agree that the man is dead sexy!
Anyway I do not see what I would call “Super” articulation on what is a nice looking figure of Greyskull. I was hoping that maybe the rumors were true etc. and there would be a series with DCU level of articulation or more. Oh well again…I await more information.

No. i’m sorry, but i’m very much a heterosexual male. I’m just very comfortable with my sexuality so it’s easy for me to appreciate the sexiness of a half-naked barbarian and what-not.

Well…they share the same amount of articulation os dc universe and the same quality…i would rather wait to see teela or she-ra to say something about sexiness
I couldn’t see the chest articulation because of his giant bandolir or whatever ya call that awesome chest thing…Yeah I felt a bit foolish when I got a better look at Greyskull later. He does look like the articulation is nice but he doesn’t have the thigh twist like DCU. Maybe this is a prototype thing cause I remember the Wonder Woman they first showed had no thigh twist and now she does.
Man it would be cool if SAg was a cyborg.

Anyway, its gonna be cool having a Skeletor, Battlecat, Trap jaw, Beast man, Merman, Man At Arms made for the 4H… I know they did the last series of figures but never care about it… if these toys have a sculpt the half of good that they min bust, Hasbro is gonna have a lot of problems beside DCUC
