GI Joe SDCC 2008 Exclusive Revealed

sdcc exclusive cobra commander gi joe action figureSo, I’ve pretty much quit collecting the GI Joe 25th Anniversary line, but it continues to roll strong and deliver a lot of great figures to hardcore Joe fans. Hasbro revealed their SDCC exclusive from the 25th Anni line today and it’s none other than Cobra Commander! Because, I mean, the nine versions of him they’ve released so far haven’t been enough! Actually, it’s not that bad. It’s CC In a business suit with a little podium and a microphone. That’s kind of cool, I guess. It’s way better than last year’s “Drag Queen Destro” or whatever that was supposed to be. Check out TNI for more info and a better pic.

  1. Heh. I’ll throw this in here since there’s no better place for it. Have you guys seen the laugh-out-loud terrible costumes for the new GI Joe movie? It’s like they’re actively trying to make as big a joke out of this thing as they can.

    Storm Shadow

    Destro

    Breaker

    Heavy Duty

  2. Nope, hadn’t seen these… but if Christopher Eccleston is playing Destro — even without the mask — I am so seeing this film. Eccleston rules.

  3. SAG i was going to said something about it in the post of iron man but i stoped here before… LOL, yes you are right, with the first images from snake eyes i was crazy, then came scarlet, not too much accurete but still pretty hot girl…now i saw destro and i just crack on laugh…dude what they were thinking??? and storm shadow is too matrix style for my taste i want a real ninja…the other joes are like regular soldiers, whats the fun about that??? you cant said who is who…

  4. yup…storm shadow looks like he’s wearing pajamas, duke’s too young, Destro is horrible…Marlon Waynes I can’t see him in an action flick without laughing…

I think the only decent ones are Snake Eyes, Baroness and Scarlett. That’s about it.
