Hellboy II Liz Mods
If you read my review you’ll know that I love the new Mezco Liz Sherman figure from the Hellboy II movie line, but I was less than impressed with her articulation. Bicep and thigh cuts are a must for me, so I snagged an extra Liz from TRU the other day and then set about butchering her up by cutting off her arms and legs and giving her some extra jointage. I dremelled in wells in her shoulders and thigh into which I plugged screws that I put in the opposite end of the limb to act as a peg. Although things are off a little bit, it turned out remarkably well and… well, it actually worked! Expand for more pics.

When I look at that modified Liz, a James Blunt song comes to mind. Seriously, if I could do that, my old Toybiz collection would be in a lot of pieces right now!
