Want to see your custom action figure featured on Superarticulated? Then just shoot me an email. The process is very informal. Just include your name, website (if applicable) and some pics and write-up of your figure, and presto - you’re in the queue!
I am fairly new to customizing and still learning a lot as I go. I get my inspiration from websites like yours… they arouse my interest to bring out my creative talent (well I think I have one) to do something you can be proud of. I wanted to get a chance to have my first custom figure featured here but to tell you right on that it’s not that good compared to those who I look up and idolize… but i think it’s ok for my first actual try. First means puzzling up different parts from different toys, dremelling them and sculpting to make it a figure that is the sum of all those other figures. I used have a Spawn that doesn’t have any arms and at the same time an extra Deathlock without legs, so i took out Deathlocks arms and super glued it to Spawn. It looked ok (because he is now a complete figure…LOL), but i dont know if that actually counts for customizing. I dont have an actual website but I have a Flickr account where I have pics of my custom figure that i can send you for you to check out my custom or just send you in your e-mail. Thanks for the time and the consideration with regards to this issue… and know that i will be visiting your site on a daily basis either my custom is accepted or not… thanks
By all means, send me what you’ve got. the best way to learn/improve as a customizer is to share your work and accept criticism from other customizers.
I don’t have any stringent “acceptance” standards. Pretty much, if you send something in, I’m gonna post it!
