GMamon101 mentioned earlier in the forums the rumors surrounding the Batpod being released as part of Mattel’s Movie Masters line. At SDCC, Mattel did, indeed, unveil the Target exclusive Batpod vehicle for the MM line. Initially, I sort of glossed over it because I generally don’t care for vehicles. But after GMamon101’s query, I started to give it more thought.

Clearly, with this Target exclusive Batpod, Mattel is ‘testing the waters’ for the success of releasing in-scale vehicles for the Movie Masters line. If it sells well, I bet there’s a strong chance we might see a Tumbler or maybe even something like a GCPD Paddy Wagon at some point. Then the idea of this carrying over into DCUC drifted into my head and I began to wonder how awesome it would be to get an in-scale Batcave playset or Fortress of Solitude or something. I think my opinion has changed. I’d have nowhere to put them, but I say bring on the vehicles, Mattel. Bring ‘em on!
